State-run Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (POWERGRID) has won the bid to establish the ‘Inter-Regional (NR-WR) Transmission System’ under tariff-based competitive bidding. The company said in a regulatory filing that it received the Letter of Intent (LoI) on Tuesday.
The project involves setting up a new 765 kV substation in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, as part of the Vindhyachal–Varanasi transmission line.
