New Delhi, September 12 – Cottonseed oil cake futures declined on Friday as traders pared positions, tracking a muted trend in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), cottonseed oil cake for December delivery fell Rs 5 or 0.17 per cent to Rs 2,930 per quintal, with an open interest of 3,360 lots.

Analysts attributed the price drop to profit-booking and subdued demand at current levels, which weighed on market sentiment.
