RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has announced that it has received a work order from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for the supply, installation, and commissioning of an IP-based CCTV surveillance system at the ministry’s premises. The contract is valued at Rs 149.49 crore, excluding taxes.

The order, awarded by the Ministry of Home Affairs–Secretariat Security Organization, was issued on September 2, 2025, and formally received by RailTel on September 3, 2025, at 11:45 a.m. The project is domestic in nature and is scheduled to be executed by September 1, 2030.

RailTel confirmed that neither its promoters nor promoter group companies have any interest in the awarding entity and that the order does not fall under related party transactions.

This project is expected to further strengthen RailTel’s position as a key player in providing advanced digital and surveillance solutions to government entities.
