Silver prices climbed Rs 667 to Rs 1,10,678 per kilogram in Wednesday’s futures trade as traders raised their positions.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), September silver contracts advanced by 0.6% or Rs 667 to Rs 1,10,678 per kg, with a turnover of 17,089 lots.
Analysts attributed the uptrend to fresh buying by participants.
