The Sensex and Nifty50 extended their winning streak for a third consecutive session on Friday, supported by gains in auto and financial services stocks.

The 30-share benchmark index ended at 78094.64 up by 166.49 points or by 0.21 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24383.6 up by 66.45 points or by 0.27 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 78272.25 and intraday low of 77809.93 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24429.4 and intraday low of 24299.7

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 1141.70,+8.11%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 2035.00,+6.60%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3396.35,+3.58%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1699.50,+2.12%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 189.80,+1.52%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2365.60,-2.73%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 302.35,-2.72%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1130.00,-2.26%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 280.95,-1.51%), InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (Rs. 5170.75,-1.17%), among others.
