Indian shares were little changed in early trade on Monday, tracking mixed signals from global markets. In the broader markets, the Nifty MidCap index, and the Nifty SmallCap index were off lows, down 0.06 per cent each.

Meanwhile, several Asian as well as U.S. markets remain shut today for Lunar New Year and Presidents' Day, respectively.

On the corporate front, share price of RACL Geartech hit a 52-week high of ₹1,366, as the stock zoomed 14 per cent on the BSE in Monday’s intra-day trade. Kwality Wall's shares list at 26% discount on NSE post demerger from HUL.

At 10:34 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82813.26 up by 186.5 points or by 0.23 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25526.8 up by 55.7 points or by 0.22 %.

In the positive trade so-far, Sensex touched intraday high of 82905.13 and intraday low of 82276.95 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25561.85 and intraday low of 25372.70.

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Kwality Wall's (India) Ltd. (Rs. 31.26,+3026.00%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 296.00,+2.99%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 923.25,+1.94%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 289.35,+1.46%), NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 367.60,+1.28%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1347.60,-1.60%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1514.05,-1.38%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 15078.00,-0.98%), State Bank of India (Rs. 1188.40,-0.87%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1507.15,-0.82%), among others.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 4165 , shares advanced were 1679 while 2254 shares declined and 232 were unchanged.
