Trimming all the early gains, Indian benchmark indices slipped in red during the noon trading session amid profit booking in index heavyweights.

At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 84471.52 down by -194.76 points or by -0.23 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25791.7 down by -47.95 points or by -0.19 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 85020.34 and intraday low of 84408.51 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25947.65 and intraday low of 25790
