Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty continued to trade higher on Wednesday after two days of sharp decline amid value-buying at lower levels.

At 10:29 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 84971.19 up by 304.91 points or by 0.36 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25919.85 up by 80.2 points or by 0.31 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 85020.34 and intraday low of 84607.49 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25922.25 and intraday low of 25832.65

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1515.45,+1.27%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3684.25,+1.24%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 2151.55,+1.03%), NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 322.85,+0.95%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 162.05,+0.90%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 289.90,-0.62%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 3835.20,-0.26%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3200.05,-0.26%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1595.40,-0.25%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 843.35,-0.14%), among others.
