Indian equity markets extended their gains for a second consecutive session, boosted by strength in media and tech stocks, as easing oil prices and a ceasefire between Iran and Israel helped calm investor sentiment.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 82755.51 up by 700.4 points or by 0.85 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25244.75 up by 200.4 points or by 0.8 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 82815.91 and intraday low of 82339.57 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25266.8 and intraday low of 25125.05
