Indian stock markets opened on a subdued note today as investors opted to book profits following Thursday’s sharp rally. The previous session saw a boost in sentiment after U.S. President Donald Trump stated that India had proposed to eliminate all tariffs, suggesting a ‘zero tariff rate’ on American goods.
At 9:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82321.76 down by -208.98 points or by -0.25 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25009.3 down by -52.8 points or by -0.21 %.
