Indian benchmark indices slipped in red during the noon trading session as investors awaited the US Federal Reserve's policy decision announcement later in the day.

At 14:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index ended at 82901.17 down by -178.49 points or by -0.21 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25348 down by -70.55 points or by -0.28 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 83326.38 and intraday low of 82700.63 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25482.2 and intraday low of 25285.55

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 7624.75,+3.54%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 1890.80,+2.29%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1293.00,+1.94%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1693.90,+1.51%), State Bank of India (Rs. 792.15,+1.16%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 4326.00,-3.94%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1744.75,-3.75%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1884.65,-3.48%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1601.75,-3.01%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1834.00,-1.71%), among others.
