The Exchange has sought clarification from Jaiprakash Associates Limited with respect to recent news item captioned "JSW, Vedanta among 18 cos eyeing Jaypee Infra; JSW group is in talks to tie up with Jaypee Associates, the promoters of Jaypee Infratech, for the bid".. The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company. Jaiprakash Associates Limited has submitted their response.
