Kothari Industrial Corporation Ltd has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Australia's University of Western Australia (UWA) on November 4, 2026, to establish a framework for international collaboration in education, teaching, research and related activities.

The University of Western Australia is ranked among the world's top 100 universities and is a member of the Group of Eight (Go8), a coalition of Australia's leading research-intensive universities. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and has a strong presence in international engagement, industry partnerships and research.

Under the proposed agreement, the two institutions will establish the UWA Global Engagement Alliance to promote cooperation across teaching, research and other academic activities, while facilitating the exchange of knowledge and expertise.

The Alliance is expected to convene at least twice a year, with meetings potentially hosted in Australia, the United Kingdom or India.

The proposed areas of collaboration, subject to resource availability, include mentorship programmes, internships, graduate placements, joint research initiatives, conferences and meetings, transnational education programmes, scholarships and fellowships.

The partnership is aimed at strengthening international academic engagement and creating opportunities for knowledge exchange, research collaboration and educational development.
