As of September 2026, 55.45% is owned by Indian Promoters and 44.55% by Public.

Institutional holds 37.41% (Insurance Companies 9.87%) and Non-Institutional holds 7.12% as Public shareholders.

Top Promoter holding highest number of shares of SBI company is President Of India (50797.75 lakhs shares / 55.45%).
