Crude oil futures prices declined 0.82% to Rs. 8,782 per barrel on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Friday, tracking weak global market trends.
The October delivery contract fell by Rs. 82, with a trading turnover of 8,375 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to selling by market participants amid weak spot demand and subdued global cues.
