Coriander futures rise 1.29% on strong spot demand

Coriander futures rose Rs 206, or 1.29%, to Rs 16,130 per quintal on Thursday, supported by strong demand in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the December delivery contract was quoted at Rs 16,130 per quintal, with an open interest of 12,760 lots.

Market analysts said firm spot demand and limited supplies from producing areas supported the rise in coriander futures.
