Copper futures rose Rs 1.25, or 0.09%, to Rs 1,413.70 per kg on Tuesday, supported by firm demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for September delivery gained Rs 1.25 to Rs 1,413.70 per kg, with a business turnover of 7,518 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise to increased buying interest from market participants.
