Zinc futures declined marginally by 50 paise to Rs 435.30 per kg on Tuesday, weighed down by weak demand in the spot market and reduced exposure by speculators.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts fell 0.11% to Rs 435.30 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,623 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to slackened demand from consuming industries, prompting market participants to trim their positions.
