RailTel gets Rs 631.5 cr LoI from Prasar Bharati for WAVES OTT Platform

RailTel Corporation of India has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Prasar Bharati’s Director General, Doordarshan, for providing additional features and services on the existing WAVES OTT platform.

The domestic service order has an estimated value of Rs 631.51 crore, including taxes, with execution scheduled through February 11, 2029. The LoI was received on September 16, 2026.

The company stated that the order does not involve any interest of the promoter or promoter group and does not fall under related-party transactions.
