RRP Defense Limited has entered into an exclusive association with ESC BAZ, a developer of advanced electro-optical observation systems, to introduce its Diamond observation system in India and explore opportunities in international markets.

The Diamond system offers daylight-quality imaging in complete darkness, along with AI-powered detection and analytics. It is designed for both fixed and tactical deployments, with applications spanning border security, defence installations, critical infrastructure, perimeter protection and tactical surveillance.

The companies said the partnership will combine ESC BAZ’s technology capabilities with RRP Defense’s manufacturing and market reach, with an objective to progressively support local manufacturing, technology localisation and exports from India.

The global military EO/IR market is estimated at around $11.1 billion in 2025, while India represents an estimated $580 million opportunity. RRP Defense expects the Diamond technology and associated opportunities could contribute around 30% of the potential revenue opportunity within the emerging business segment.

The partnership is aimed at establishing an early position for RRP Defense in India’s specialised AI-enabled surveillance market, while also creating potential for expansion into global defence and security markets.
