Deccan Gold Mines has announced that its Altyn Tor Gold Project in Kyrgyzstan, operated through its subsidiary Avelum Partner LLC, has been included in the national inauguration programme of the Kyrgyz Republic scheduled for September 11, 2026.
The programme will be presided over by Kyrgyz President Sadyr N. Japarov, with senior management from Avelum Partner and Deccan Gold expected to be present at the project site.
The inclusion of Altyn Tor in the national programme marks a significant milestone for Deccan Gold, as the project has progressed from exploration and development to production. The company believes it represents the first investment by an Indian company in Kyrgyzstan’s gold mining sector to reach the production stage.
Deccan Gold said the development strengthens its strategy of building a diversified, production-oriented portfolio of gold and critical mineral assets across India and international markets.
The company also views the project as an important milestone in India-Kyrgyzstan economic cooperation, while highlighting the growing significance of cross-border investments and diversified mineral supply chains amid increasing focus on resource security.
