Lupin Ltd on Thursday announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, VISUfarma BV, has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with Visus Therapeutics Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tenpoint Therapeutics Holding Ltd, to commercialise YUVEZZI in select global markets.

Under the agreement, VISUfarma will have exclusive rights for regulatory activities, commercialisation, marketing, promotion, distribution and sale of YUVEZZI (carbachol and brimonidine tartrate ophthalmic solution) 2.75%/0.1% across the European Union, the UK, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland.

YUVEZZI is an ophthalmic product indicated for the treatment of loss of clear near vision in adults. As part of the partnership, VISUfarma will also make a strategic investment in Visus Therapeutics.
