The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology’s (MeitY) SAMRIDH programme has supported five startups in Andhra Pradesh through an accelerator-led innovation initiative, with Rs 1.81 crore allocated and disbursed to the selected accelerator.

The Startup Accelerator of MeitY for Product Innovation, Development and Growth (SAMRIDH) programme was designed to accelerate around 300 startups across sectors including health-tech, ed-tech, agri-tech, consumer-tech, fintech, SaaS and sustainability. The programme concluded on January 31, 2026.

In Andhra Pradesh, seven accelerators had submitted Expressions of Interest under the programme over the last five years. Kalpataru Centre of Excellence (CoE) by AIC STPINEXT Initiatives in Visakhapatnam was selected to implement the programme.

Through the selected accelerator, five startups — Aerogravity, Cairovision, Epsum Labs, Scraptechies Solutions and Voptimaise Climate Tech Solutions — received support under SAMRIDH.

The programme provides financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh per startup to selected accelerators, along with matching funding to startups of up to Rs 40 lakh, as per the programme guidelines.

The MeitY Start-up Hub monitors and evaluates participating accelerators based on quantitative and qualitative parameters, including the revenue and valuation growth of supported startups.
