Guar gum futures prices declined Rs 153 to Rs 11,560 per quintal on Thursday, weighed down by weak spot market demand and ample supplies from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for September delivery fell 1.31% to Rs 11,560 per quintal, with an open interest of 59,500 lots.
Marketmen attributed the decline to subdued demand in the spot market, along with increased supplies from growing regions, which kept guar gum prices under pressure.
