Silver futures prices declined Rs 836 to Rs 2,36,999 per kg on Thursday, pressured by selling from market participants.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for September delivery fell 0.35% to Rs 2,36,999 per kg, with a business turnover of 857 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline primarily to participants reducing their positions, which weighed on silver prices in futures trade.
