Lupin has launched the generic version of Sugammadex Injection in the United States after receiving approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA).
The injection, available in 200 mg/2 mL and 500 mg/5 mL single-dose vials, is used to reverse the effects of certain muscle relaxants administered during surgery. Lupin stated that its product is bioequivalent to Merck's Bridion Injection.
