Cottonseed oil cake prices slipped in futures trade on Monday as traders reduced positions amid subdued demand in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake contracts for June delivery fell by Rs 15, or 0.43%, to Rs 3,462 per quintal, with an open interest of 40,480 lots.

Market analysts said profit booking and weak sentiment in the physical market weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
