Patel Engineering wins Rs 1,593 crore Hydropower Contract in Nepal

Patel Engineering Limited has secured a hydroelectric project contract worth Rs 1,593.08 crore in Nepal.

The company has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) by SJVN Lower Arun Power Development Company Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN Limited, for Package 2 of the 669 MW Lower Arun Hydroelectric Project located in Sankhuwasabha district.

According to the regulatory filing, the project is scheduled to be completed within 54 months.
