Tata Power on Thursday announced a collaboration with US-based Databricks to develop a future-ready data and AI platform aimed at driving innovation and enhancing resilience in energy systems.

The company said the enterprise-wide adoption of the Databricks platform will accelerate its data and AI transformation across business verticals, improving operational efficiency, enabling smarter decision-making, and supporting scalable digital innovation.

The unified platform is expected to enhance capabilities such as intelligent grid management, advanced power planning and optimisation, improved billing and collection processes, accurate renewable energy forecasting, and operational efficiency across solar manufacturing and rooftop segments.

It will also enable a seamless, integrated customer experience through a single-view interface, the company added.
