Avio Smart Market Stack Limited (ASMS), formerly known as Bartronics India Limited, has announced a series of strategic collaborations to expand its agri-tech and sustainability initiatives under Project AVIO Agritech.
The company, which operates one of India’s largest financial inclusion networks through its banking correspondent infrastructure, is leveraging this foundation to introduce specialised services for the agricultural sector. ASMS currently connects with an estimated 40 million rural citizens through a network of more than 5,000 banking correspondents across 10 states.
Under Project AVIO Agritech, ASMS aims to reach up to 20 million farmers across more than 5,000 villages by building an integrated ecosystem focused on sustainable agriculture, climate solutions, digital advisory services, and rural financing.
To strengthen this ecosystem, the company has signed multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with organisations working across climate services, environmental solutions, and carbon markets. Its partners include Kosher Climate India Private Limited, Enrich Power and Water Technologies, Ecoveda Climate LLP, and Pranadhaara Agri Smart Solutions (CarbonMint).
These collaborations will bring specialised capabilities to ASMS’s rural platform. The partnership with Kosher Climate India will facilitate carbon project development and access to global voluntary carbon markets, helping monetise sustainable farming practices. Enrich Power and Water Technologies will support water optimisation, solar-powered irrigation, and rural energy solutions aimed at improving resource efficiency and reducing farm input costs.
Ecoveda Climate LLP will contribute to agroforestry, regenerative agriculture, and nature-based solutions that can generate carbon credits and climate-linked income streams for farming communities. Meanwhile, Pranadhaara Agri Smart Solutions will enable digital farm advisory services, farm mechanisation access, and monitoring, reporting and verification systems essential for sustainability and carbon programmes.
Through these partnerships, ASMS plans to strengthen rural livelihoods by offering integrated solutions spanning regenerative agriculture, carbon credit generation, climate advisory, water management, digital farm services, and access to finance. The initiative is designed to help farmers improve productivity, lower input costs, and create additional income streams linked to sustainability programmes.
The initial rollout will focus on the states of Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, with implementation expected over the next six to twelve months through pilot clusters and partner-led deployment models.
Commenting on the development, N. Vidhya Sagar Reddy, Managing Director of ASMS, said the company aims to build economic opportunities around its strong rural network by collaborating with specialised partners across agriculture, climate, and sustainability sectors.
The partnerships align with ASMS’s broader vision of developing an integrated platform that connects financial services, agricultural programmes, and sustainability initiatives. With several collaborations already underway and more under discussion, the company expects the Project AVIO Agritech ecosystem to expand further in the coming months.
