As of February 2026, 70.98% is owned by Indian Promoters and 29.02% by Public.

Top two Promoters holding highest number of shares of SAL Steel company are Sree Metaliks Limited (832.62 lakhs shares / 57.51%) and Shah Alloys Limited (195.00 lakhs shares / 13.47%).
