Cottonseed oil cake futures moved lower on Tuesday, slipping Rs 42 to Rs 3,335 per quintal, as participants trimmed positions amid weak trends in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), cottonseed oil cake contracts for March delivery declined by Rs 42, or 1.28%, to Rs 3,335 per quintal, with an open interest of 47,060 lots.

Analysts said selling pressure at prevailing levels, coupled with subdued market sentiment, weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
