AION-Tech Solutions Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Theoremus AD, a global leader in multimodal transport orchestration, to collaborate on next-generation urban mobility solutions across India.
As part of the initial phase of the partnership, first–middle–last mile (FMLM) mobility integration pilots will be rolled out in Telangana and Karnataka. These pilots will focus on demand-responsive electric vehicle (EV) feeder services linked to high-traffic metro rail and bus corridors, with the objective of improving connectivity, fleet utilisation, service reliability, and sustainable urban transport outcomes.
Chanakya Bellam Radhakrishna, Director of AION-Tech Solutions, said the collaboration aligns with the company’s vision of building intelligent, integrated, and scalable mobility ecosystems for Indian cities. By combining Theoremus AD’s global orchestration expertise with the execution capabilities of AION-Tech’s subsidiaries, ETO Motors and ROQIT, the partnership aims to strengthen FMLM connectivity while delivering measurable sustainability benefits.
The collaboration will focus on deploying a city- and state-level multimodal transport orchestration platform that integrates metro rail systems, bus networks, EV fleets, parking infrastructure, and urban mobility data into a unified operational framework. Leveraging AI- and data-driven intelligence, the platform will support demand forecasting, optimisation of EV utilisation, congestion management, and real-time operational visibility for transport authorities and operators.
During the pilot phase, EV fleets will be integrated with real-time analytics to optimise routing, charging operations, and service planning. Performance will be assessed through key indicators such as ridership growth, service coverage, fleet utilisation, and carbon emission reduction.
Hristo Popov, Chief Business Officer of Theoremus AD, said India represents one of the world’s most dynamic urban mobility markets and that partnering with AION-Tech Solutions will enable localisation of Theoremus’ platform and demonstration of AI-driven, coordinated EV operations at scale.
AION-Tech Solutions will anchor execution in India through its subsidiaries, with ETO Motors responsible for deploying and operating EV fleets for the pilots, while ROQIT will deliver digital platforms, control dashboards, and real-time visibility tools for cities and transport authorities. The partnership will operate under robust data privacy, cybersecurity, and Indian data residency frameworks.
Following successful pilots, the partners plan to engage with transport corporations, metro rail agencies, and urban development bodies to scale the solution across additional cities and states. Initial engagements are expected with agencies in Telangana and Karnataka, with the broader aim of creating replicable models aligned with India’s Smart Cities mission and sustainable mobility initiatives.
