Allcargo Logistics Ltd on Friday announced a major expansion of its domestic distribution network with the launch of Allcargo Extended Reach (AER), an upgraded and rebranded version of its earlier Extra Serviceable Stations (ESS), following approval of the company’s restructuring plan.
With the rollout of AER, Allcargo Logistics now covers 100 per cent of India’s PIN codes, expanding its mapped network from about 21,000 to over 32,000 PIN codes. The company has also more than doubled its direct serviceable PIN codes from 4,900 to over 10,000, serviced directly through Allcargo Distribution Centres, significantly enhancing delivery speed, reliability and operational efficiency.
Ketan Kulkarni, Managing Director and CEO of Allcargo Logistics, said the initiative marks a new phase in the company’s domestic logistics journey by unlocking greater speed, reliability and market access for customers, while strengthening its position as a trusted logistics partner for MSMEs, digital-first businesses and large enterprises.
The expansion comes amid rising logistics demand beyond major metros, with Tier II, III and IV cities and remote regions emerging as high-growth consumption hubs. Through AER, Allcargo Logistics has extended seamless service access to challenging geographies such as Port Blair, Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, the Western Ghats and the North-Eastern region, strengthening last-mile delivery capabilities.
The company said the expanded reach is supported by a comprehensive operational redesign, including AI-led planning tools, intelligent routing systems, fully digitalised workflows, and an expanded hub-and-line-haul network. Recently, Allcargo Logistics increased the number of its transshipment centres from 21 to 71 to further enhance nationwide connectivity and customer experience.
Allcargo said AER reinforces its long-term vision of building a faster, more predictable and inclusive logistics network to support India’s evolving consumption and digital economy.
