Infrastructure major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has announced the transfer of its real estate business to its subsidiary L&T Realty Properties Ltd.

This move marks the start of a phased consolidation of L&T’s real estate assets and operations.

The transfer has been approved by the board through a slump sale under a scheme of arrangement, and remains subject to necessary regulatory approvals.
