Cottonseed oil cake futures advanced Rs 30 to Rs 2,913 per quintal on Monday as traders built fresh positions amid rising demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the January contract climbed 1.03 percent to Rs 2,913 per quintal, with open interest at 15,190 lots.

According to market participants, increased demand for cattle feed and wider positioning supported the uptick in prices.
