KEC International on Wednesday clarified that its ongoing projects with Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) will remain unaffected, despite the company being barred from participating in new tenders for nine months.

The clarification follows a communication from PGCIL informing KEC of its temporary exclusion, linked to an earlier matter.

In its exchange filing, KEC International said it “does not foresee any material impact on its ongoing operations or financial position” as existing contracts with Powergrid will continue without disruption.
