WPIL Ltd announced that its South African subsidiary has received a contract worth 821 million Rand (approximately Rs 426 crore) from METSI KE MATLA JV.

The scope of work includes complete electro-mechanical and instrumentation works for the MCWAP2 Project of the Trans Caledon Tunnel Authority in South Africa.

The project is scheduled to be commissioned within 48 months. WPIL clarified that this contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
