Guar seed prices fell by Rs 14 to Rs 4,900 per quintal in futures trade on Monday, weighed down by higher supplies from producing regions.

On the NCDEX, guar seed for November delivery declined Rs 14, or 0.29 per cent, to Rs 4,900 per quintal with an open interest of 44,685 lots.

Analysts said abundant arrivals from key growing areas continued to pressure prices.
