Copper futures on MCX gained Rs 7.15, or 0.72%, to Rs 1,004.15 per kg on Friday, driven by higher spot demand. The November contract recorded a turnover of 6,925 lots.

Analysts said participants’ fresh positions supported the upward move in copper futures.
