State-run GAIL (India) Ltd has signed a long-term gas sales and purchase agreement (GSPA) with Vitol Asia Pte Ltd to procure 1 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) annually for a period of 10 years, starting from 2026.
The agreement builds on a binding term sheet signed between the two companies in January 2024, GAIL said in a statement.
As part of the deal, Vitol will supply LNG to GAIL from its global portfolio.
