The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced it will conduct a Variable Rate Reverse Repo (VRRR) auction worth ?1,00,000 crore under the Liquidity Adjustment Facility (LAF) on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, in light of the current and evolving liquidity conditions.
According to the central bank, the two-day tenor auction will be held from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM, with the date of reversal set for July 11, 2025 (Friday).
The RBI added that the operational guidelines for the auction will remain in line with those outlined in its press release dated February 13, 2020 (2019-2020/1947).
