Silver prices fell by Rs 694 to Rs 1,07,735 per kilogram on Monday, as traders trimmed their positions.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery slipped Rs 694, or 0.64 per cent, to Rs 1,07,735 per kg, with a business volume of 16,370 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to profit booking by participants at prevailing price levels, which put pressure on silver rates.
