Copper futures edge lower on subdued demand

Copper futures saw a slight dip on Tuesday, settling at ?883.60 per kilogram, as traders trimmed their positions amid tepid demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for July delivery declined by 10 paise, or 0.01%, to Rs 883.60 per kg, with a trading volume of 3,314 lots.

According to analysts, the marginal decline in prices was primarily driven by reduced investor interest and lower market activity.
