Aluminium futures rose on Tuesday, gaining 40 paise to ?244.20 per kilogram, as traders initiated fresh positions amid a firm trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for July delivery advanced by 0.16% to ?244.20 per kg, with 1,777 lots traded.
Analysts attributed the uptick to renewed buying interest from speculators, driven by steady demand from consuming industries in the physical market.
