Silver prices climbed Rs 306 to Rs 1,06,870 per kilogram in futures trade on Tuesday, driven by increased buying activity from market participants.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for July delivery rose by 0.29% to Rs 1,06,870 per kg, with a trading volume of 16,885 lots.
According to analysts, the price rise was primarily supported by the buildup of fresh positions by traders.
