The Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) on Monday advised its members to refrain from seeking assistance from third-party agents for accessing online services related to their provident fund accounts. The retirement fund body emphasized that using unauthorized intermediaries could lead to the exposure of sensitive personal information.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Labour, EPFO has implemented several reforms aimed at making its services faster, more transparent, and user-friendly for stakeholders.
EPFO currently serves over 7 crore members, comprising employees and former employees of both private and public sector organizations.
