Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India’s largest IT services firm, announced on Wednesday that it has received an additional Advance Purchase Order (APO) valued at approximately Rs 2,903 crore from state-run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).
According to the regulatory filing, the order covers the planning, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and annual maintenance of a 4G mobile network across 18,685 sites.
TCS noted that BSNL will issue detailed purchase orders in due course, contingent upon the fulfillment of specified conditions and documentation outlined in the APO.
