The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 736.64 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 594.71 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 23.87 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 20.79 per cent at Rs 4,808.40 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 3,980.70 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 22.22 per cent to Rs 3,735.05 crore from Rs 3,056.05 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 57.14 per cent at Rs 33.69 crore versus (Mar'22 Rs 21.44 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 18.48 per cent to Rs 1,095.48 crore as against Rs 924.65 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 1.94 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 4.05 per cent y-o-y to Rs 37.01 crore, while Taxation increased by 19.99 per cent at Rs 253.82 crore (Mar'22 Rs 211.53 crore).
