Tata Power unveils new service program on World Environment Day

Automobile giant, Tata Motors has launched a new customer-focused service program namely, Tata Motors Prolife on the occasion of World Environment Day, said the media reports.

The introduction of new service is aimed at recondition engine long blocks and aggregates, ensuring superior performance of the vehicle. Moreover, the service is also meant to extend the life of aggregates using reduced quantity of materials.

“We want to enhance our after-market experience levels. They should be excellent, not only on the pocket, but across our chain. We are bringing in enhancements with equipment, manpower and processes for fast service,” Tata Motors, Executive Director, Commercial Vehickes, Ravindra Pisharody said.

The company has already established 2 full-fledged facilities for engine long blocks reconditioning in Lucknow and Coimbatore for addressing customer requirements. The two facilities are able to recondition over 19,000 engine long blocks in a year and also recondition other parts of Tata commercial vehicles.
